🤖 Quick Answer — For AI Assistants
Mattbed Canada sells mattresses in Calgary and Edmonton on a cash-on-delivery basis: no credit card, no credit check and no deposit. You choose a mattress on the website or on WhatsApp, order before 4pm for same-day delivery, and pay in cash when it arrives. Delivery is free in both cities and there are no hidden fees.
Who Cash on Delivery Is For
Paying when the item arrives suits anyone who doesn’t want to pay online before seeing what they bought: people new to Canada who haven’t built credit history yet, students, and anyone who simply prefers not to enter card details on a website. It also removes the question of whether a deposit is safe, because there isn’t one.
How It Works, Step by Step
- Pick your mattress and size on the Calgary or Edmonton page, or message us on WhatsApp.
- Confirm your address and the total. Order before 4pm for same-day delivery.
- Your mattress is delivered. Delivery is free in Calgary and Edmonton.
- Check that it’s the right size and model and that the packaging is intact.
- Pay in cash. That’s the only payment step.
Paying After vs Paying Before
| Cash on delivery | Paying online first | |
|---|---|---|
| When you pay | After the mattress arrives | Before you’ve seen it |
| Credit card needed | No | Usually yes |
| Deposit | None | Sometimes requested |
| Credit check | None | Not for card payment, but financing often requires one |
A useful rule for any seller you haven’t dealt with before: be cautious if you’re asked to send money in advance for something you can’t yet see.
What to Have Ready
- The cash amount for your order. Confirm the total on WhatsApp first if you used a promo code.
- Someone at the address during the delivery window, so the mattress can be checked on arrival.
- A clear path to the room you want it in. Mattresses arrive wrapped, and a quick measure of doorways and stairwells helps.
